Only had time to listen to the first two tracks so far. I'm picking up quite a White Zombie vibe.

I don't know how to make this sound as genuine as it is felt, but yeah, this work deserves to be talked about well beyond Obner.

like i said, i've hit a lot of the hype machine blogs with it and have gotten a "decent" return rate. i'm also going to probably toss it in the viper pit known as hipinion soon, and the guy who runs ILM is a facebook friend of mine and he said he'd give it a listen.

plus, huge props to twilightkid for help with the metal/fuzz/stoner blogs. dude, my best responses have been mostly from the people you recommended :rawk:

Another RIYL: Barry Adamson.
And, if you know me (which you do), then you know that this is a very high compliment, indeed.

I like this a lot. I need to go and listen to the first City Water EP. Any plans to release physical copies?

yeah, eventually. i'm hoping to do them up right, not just run a batch of a few hundred, but maybe do like 50-100 of each and have some sort of crazy packaging concept. i have just enough budget to get these properly mastered and then not much for anything else, although i did set aside some to run a couple ads on pitchfork, aquarium drunkard and quietus this time around. but basically that means launching can't really be done for me like people are doing these days, i.e. digital copies first, followed by vinyl shortly after. i'm going to have to treat the vinyl release as a way-after-the-fact event unto itself, i think. which isn't terrible...it allows for two rounds of distinctive hype around the same release.

Oh yeah, and submit that damn thing to the blog that I write for -- http://active-listener.blogspot.com.
I will recuse myself from writing the review, but there are plenty of other writers there who will cream themselves over this.
You can get a hold of Nathan (the blog owner) through their Facebook page:
