I know this should go in the Lists section but I don't think anyone goes there anymore.

Here's mine"

Autumn Almanac
She's Got Everything
Strangers
Shangri-La
This Is Where I Belong
Dreams
Animal Farm
Lincoln County
Drivin'
Starstruck

Waterloo Sunset
Celluloid Heroes
Death Of a Clown
Two Sisters
Complicated Life
Picture Book
I'm Not Like Everybody Else
Rosie Won't You Please Come Home
Strangers
Come Dancing

And, about a hundred more that could shuffle in and out of this list on any given day.
It should also be mentioned that this song, from Ray's solo album Other People's Lives, is as good as just about any song that he did with The Kinks:

I'm much more of a late-era Kinks fan than most, so I love lots of their late-'70s/early-80s stuff. Here they are, in no order...

Juke Box Music
Destroyer
Low Budget
Better Things
All Day and All of the Night
(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman
Do It Again
Catch Me Now I'm Falling
A Well Respected Man
Lola

David Watts
This Is Where I Belong
Australia
Tired of Waiting

Not really in order, but possibly those are my #1 and 2.

Yeah 4 of these are from Village Green. I wanted to make it 5 with "Picture Book". Although I think I like the other songs I picked more than that. Hard to say. Best band.

Best band.

When you try to make a list like this, you realize just how deep their catalog really is.

And I didn't include a single song off of Lola which is weird, but I don't know what I would bump off of this list in favor of "Strangers" or "This Time Tomorrow".

I guess "Australia", but that's a really cool song.

Or rather when you ask a dozen people to make their own list, and you see little overlap.

…and you don't disagree with any of it.

Thanks for the lists. So far I have compiled over 100 lists. It will be interesting to see the results.

I'm doing this for a number of music sites and then I will tabulate the results and post them.

Waterloo Sunset is definitely #1 but no order after that.

So I guess most of my real favorites are off a few albums

I know it's heresy, but I prefer the Pretenders' version.
