my weekend starts in 5 minutes!

bro-in-law and his gf are coming in from richmond, va.
it's 70 and sunny out right now, so lot's o drinks on a patio somewhere.

tomorrow, head up to breckenridge. possibly ski (it's closing weekend), more likely just more drinks while watching people ski.

saturday same as friday.

sunday, head back down and go to rockies vs. giants baseball game.

monday, return the bro-in-law and his gf back to the land-of-chase.

MR edit: possibly head back down saturday to catch the drive-by truckers in boulder...depends on what people think after i play them some dbt tonight.

Busy weekend working on the house....

Put 2 new windows in the front of the house.
Finish repairs on the kitchen wall.
Go kitchen cabinet hunting.
A nice Vietnamese meal on Saturday night.
Wine after dinner at home while watching Sideways [how corny].
Smoke a 40 of crack till dawn.

Sunday...no plans yet, but will include a bike ride and the beach.

Tomorrow: Get up early. Do call time until noon. Move office, hopefully skate by 2:30-3:00. Drive to Columbus, GA and hang with fam.
Saturday: more of the fam thing. Pick up like 400 books I left at my uncles' house, probably go to Outback or Carraba's for dinner and drink like a fish with my dad.
Sunday: Wake up early and eat breakfast, drive back to Daleville, AL and put books on shelf at Dad's. Eat fat dinner, drink Guinnes and generally monger.
Monday: wake up early and drive to Birmingham for a Fundraiser, wher Savage Henry better have his check, or I'm screwed.

I've had a rough week and hopefully will cool it most of the weekend.

I do know that my wife would like to go to the car show. We just came in to some major money and the wife now needs a new car.

Loog with the Savage Henry name-drop. Awesome.

I got paid $150 to switch names on business cards for a few hours today, and might go back for some more easy money on Saturday.

Other than that, nothing much at all.

Wait, yeah, what happened? Is it fixed?

As for me: Katie is out of town, so I'll be breaking out the nylon, heels, and snapping the caps off a couple of spark plugs. You can probably find me at dark Bed/Stuy intersections between gigs if you're looking.

I'll also be outlining/reading all of the stuff I neglected earlier in the year.

holy shit quisp and quake!!!

Until right this moment I haven';t given a moment's thought as to what I'm doing this weekend. seriously. I bet it will go something like this though:

Tomorrow: someone in the office breaks out lunch beers, everyone stays until 8 drinking and exploring the giant theater beneath our office. Later go to the bar. discuss music and politics until neither are entertaining anymore.
Saturday: sleep in. maybe buy some lighter clothes for work. Karaoke at the trashiest hotel bar of all time. I had a Rudy Ray Moore film festival set up for this night but that fell through.
Sunday: Sleep in, spend as much time outside as possible (it's supposed to be gorgeous) and go to dinner at my grandmother's house before TV night.

Through July 10th. Major show--180 works!

I love Ernst cause he did a bit of everything--painting, sculpture, collage (the "Take Me Out" video owes a major debt to...)--and changed up styles a lot, not just surrealism but some pretty abstract and textural stuff as well.

This website's got a really good collection of about 60 pieces. I snagged a couple of avatars from there in the past.

Well that sounds cool too, but I was asking how long YOU were in town. Are you too weird to set up a happy hour with?

i'm throwing a huge fucking party cuz my folks are away. That'll teach them to trust me. 100 people, minimum. And then i have to conceal the fact there was a party when they return, because i got a "strictly no parties" talk from my old man just before he left.

Saturday: sleep in, go to Comet (it's closing for two (?) months for expansion and renovation following Sunday hours), go to Onopa (?) for a dj nite with some fella from Barcelona spinning

Sunday: work, late nite supping at Johnny V's (hopefully, working my kavorka on some hottt twenty-years-old femmes), getting ready for regular (non-moonlighting) job Monday
