Wait, yeah, what happened? Is it fixed?

Yeah, man! Thanks for remembering, I forgot we had gone over my data problem on that fateful day in November. As you (and not myself at the time) mentioned "there must be a way to automate it", and there was. It took awhile and a number of computer people, but all my data got restored after about a month, and the delay managed to be only about 3 months as opposed to about 6 (or worse). All in all, it worked out and the big day is about 170 hours from now. I'm excited but starting to feel the pinch.

Tania, I won't need any encouragement tonight, but the support is appreciated!

Some advice:
Lock your parents door. You really don't want to walk in on dudes knockin lines on yr. parent's sink counters, or anybody besides you doing the dirty deed in their bed.

Try to keep people in the garage (if you have one) or on the deck/patio, if you have one.

Definitely keep the smoking of all substances (cigarettes, weed, crack, PCP) outside.

Have a few friends you trust help with the policing.

Carpet cleaner has come a long way, and is your friend.

<------Threw A LOT of Parties in HS. Only time I got caught was when I only had like 5 folks over, and I left a case of 40s in the kitchen, to dispose of the empties, and my dad's flight got in early.

Tonight: Get off work, do not pass go, go directly to Athens to see Olivia Tremor Control at the 40 Watt. Possible late night mongering.

Saturday: May or may not stay in Athens. Maybe go to the Athens Brewfest if A)it's not sold out and B) I don't feel like complete shit.

(which means I'll probably go back to Atlanta tail between legs with severe hangover)

Sunday: Day of rest sir

You know damn well you're going back to ATL, because you sir, are a pussy when it comes to drinking two days in a row.

Oh yea, my weekend will go something like this:

Tonight: Get off work and head home where a fresh sixer is waiting. Head over to a suprise birthday party for a co-worker with my lady. Drink WAY too much and say something I probably shouldn't. Hopefully have drunk sex.

Sat: Sleep late (which means 9:00am). Hang out around the house. Maybe go to the Farmers Market if it's going on. Head to the bar where the Cap'N and I play every week and attend birthday party for our regular waitress. Again drink WAY too much and say something I shouldn't. No way I gonna get drunk sex two nights in a row.

Sun: MONGER!!!

Through July 10th. Major show--180 works!

I love Ernst cause he did a bit of everything--painting, sculpture, collage (the "Take Me Out" video owes a major debt to...)--and changed up styles a lot, not just surrealism but some pretty abstract and textural stuff as well.

This website's got a really good collection of about 60 pieces. I snagged a couple of avatars from there in the past.

You should really go to the Tim Hawkinson exhibit at the Whitney. He does illustration, installations, sculptures, and crazy ass inventions.

And if you have any extra time, go see the Basquiat exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum

Yeah, good thing we are taking seperate cars----that drive back tomrw would be intolerable!

Should be a good time in Athens. Get to see DiscoStu again. Get to meet Drinky Crow. Maybe even Tiny E. Get to see a (hopefully) good show. Get to roll like a MONSTER with my man Rick Derris.

Quite valid, I will need extra support tonight. I just got off the phone with my fucking rental office and the arrangement I had made with them to depart mid-week (May 4) is apparantly not going to work out and they're now threatening to ding me with at least a half month's rent, possibly the whole shebang, plus utils which I don't have the dosh for. I'm right fucking upset now. Oh, and I lost the wife's house key somehow in the goddamn house, which is going to cost me $55 to replace all the locks. And the fucking bank lettered me yesterday to let me know that my loans are due shortly, which means the university didn't confirm my enrollment back in January.

So now, I'm making arrangements to be out of here by April 29th, which leaves me a bloody week to make any corrections on my dissertation pack and up the remains of the house. Except it's not quite a week. I've got to scratch 22 though 25 for partying and goodbyes for a number of southern ON friends, so that leaves me 3 days to do it all. Then drive halfway across the fucking country.

So why do I find this all so exciting? I'm a fucking idiot.

I just recall when he came down to see us play @ Martinis. He came to the first show, then didn't come to the next show the next night. But he STAYED @ REDLANDS. I mean, he was in town, and didn't come out. When it comes to mongering...I mean...that's just... I'm speechless.

Pub tonight - many craft brews.

Play tomorrow night - Glengarry Glen Ross. Always be selling.

Sunday - turn on TV, boo the Nets and hope the Sixers beat them to clinch a playoff spot.

That's totally what I was talking about, and after 2 days with a good 5 hours of sleep, I had to get on a plane for a week at SXSW...But I roll HARD.

Well that sounds cool too, but I was asking how long YOU were in town. Are you too weird to set up a happy hour with?

Note to self: read entire sentences.

I've moved back to NJ, am finally employed after 2 years, and can now afford luxuries like trips into the city for Max Ernst exhibits.

I have considered doing the happy hour thing unannounced and always wimp out.

Well I've taken advantage of my brothers serious illness to secretly steal his season ticket so I'm going to the soccer for free.

Apart from that I won't be doing a great deal because I literally have about £3 to my name.

i went out with some friends last night.

then today, i'm going to a wedding of two people i don't even know. my friend's date is sick and she asked me to go instead because she knew i wasn't doing anything. so, that should be interesting.

tomorrow, probably having a long chat with my roommate over her ganking of the cable box and her notes out of 7th grade telling me that i'm a jerk for refusing to help her. i can't wait to hear what she has to say.
