I have not had a beer since Saturday (my wife and I took a breather due to too much winter boozing) and cannot wait to hit the pub at 5pm.

Someone hit the FF button on the time remote.

This is the slowest work day EVER.

Seriously. This week has gone by slow.

All I want to do is go back to sleep. NOW!

I feel the same way...
I'm looking forward to the pre-announced soy chicken monstrosity they're serving at the cafe next door today - that's how tired/bored I am...

I need a good visit from my good friend 30 pack, STAT...

i want to get drunk enough to make a scene at dinner tonight, but not so drunk i can't appreciate it later. i think that's pretty much how drunk everyone should be all the time.

Damn you and your stupid work beers.

Drunk but being able to appreciate it later is key. Unlike myself at the Braves game last weekend. After pounding beer for 4 hours, me and another guy finished a 16 oz flask of rum between innings 4-9. At one point, we were sipping on straight rum and didn't know it. I went crazy for Julio Franco, I might have told someone that I was in love with them and I accidentally called the consultant I work for in addition to drunk dialing 11 other people on my phone and another on my friends phone. And to top it off, I tripped and fell and subsequently passed out in the middle of everyone leaving the game after it was over. I laid there for about 10-15 seconds before someone helped me up. Allegedly. Mind you, I blacked out around the 4th inning and don't remember a span of about 4 hours.

I am probably getting too old to do stuff like this.

I should stay until 5:15 but I don't think I can handle another 30 minutes here. I'll probably shut down in about 10 and call it a week.

I'll have to stop by the LQ on the way home to grab a six pack of somethin' tasty.

what's weird is the difference between the work beers. Sometimes it's like a party in here with everyone hangin' out and bein loud. But sometimes like right now everyone stay at their desks, totally quiet with the exception of Kurtis Blow coming from mine. I'm trying to be discreet about making far more trips to the fridge than anyone else. i should just fucken dump the ice cube trays in a desk drrawer and load up my arms with stellas on the next run up there.

I'm out of here. The only productive thing I've done all day is create a new avatar. I deserve a raise.

Clocks have all stopped in the desert. The Original Pancake House pancakes consumed at lunch have swollen up internally to the point my eyes are being forced shut. 3:12 PM and I feel like the closest beer is somewhere in Oklahoma.

You're never too old to do stuff like this...if 60+ year olds do this all the time and get away with it under "disorientation/being old" pretenses, why shouldn't we?...
