It is about 7:30. I got steaks on the grill, a pint of Guinness, 70 degree weather, and I'm sitting by a pool, jamming to Beulah!

Holla!!

You find lunch, dalen? I hit a janky gas station that happens to serve BBQ (pork, chicken, ribs) red beans and rice, greens, smoked sausages and cook to order sandwiches. And Draft beer....TO GO! I had a combo plate of chopped pork and sausage, greens and beans and rice, and 2 bud lights.

jp: Ryan Adams The Revelator
np: Gillian Welch the Revelator

Trying to decide which is better...they both rule, though

Just off the grill some chicken and sausages all for me; Trying to clean out the fridge. This is the best part of cleaning the house out. Got to get rid of that whiskey too.

Nice...sounds like a good place to start again. I'm looking forward to Dublin in June.

OK, am back. Was drinking with my dad's visitors, who happen to be Truck Drivers from Ohio. Basically, embodiment of blue coller dudes who vote Republican. Interesting.

Now: Watching Season 5 of The Simpsons and guzzling Guinness

I'm only going for a couple of days -- see a quickie version. Nonetheless, I'm quite excited about going. I was hoping to catch a show, but it doesn't look like anyone's playing that I'm interested in. I'm sure there'll be plenty of Guinness to keep me entertained. ;)
