 Post subject: Ipod Question of the week (Sat April 16)

After I delete music out of my i-tunes library, have i wiped the music off of my computer totally? are the mp3's still sitting on my c-drive somewhere eating up space?

just curious. i checked my c: drive. and it seems I am usuing alot more of it then i should. i don't have too many progrmas loaded into it....

how could i check? thanks

It should prompt you and ask you the question if you want it to be saved on your computer. Mine does that, but I use a mac so this may not be much help.

my computer prompts me as well (on whether or nit to delete the song from my C:) but i've found that it doesn't always do that.

it will ask you if you want to completely remove the files IF those files are in your itunes folder. if those files are on your desktop (for example) it will not prompt you to completely remove them.

and even if you completely removely them from the prompt, itunes will leave empty folders without the mp3/mp4's n them.

if you wanna check to see if they are completely erased: my documents>my music>itunes>itunes music......look for what you thought you erased by artist>album....open up the album to see if the tracks are there....
