Maybe the internets could help with both boredom and a poetry dearth?

I'm no good to you, I'm catching the 9.10 bus home in a few minutes.

I've got nothing either. I just finished reading an article about Mickey Rourke in Rolling Stone. I'm sipping a glass of red wine and contemplating a du Maurier Extra Light. Magnolia is on right now. I watched Ocean's Twelve earlier. I also had a panic attack. It's not a Sudbury saturday night here in London.

I can't have pizza, that's the problem. "It's a lifestyle change"...I have to keep reminding myself.

I just saw Benny Girl, got some steamed shrimp dumplings, finished watching the remake of Texas Chainsaw Masacre (mmm, Jessica Biel), and now gonna continue reading 'Money Ball', and prepare for softball season tommorow.

Yeah, I'm cool, in my own way. I'm starting to realize that my physiology is betraying me. It's mind vs. body and body is winning.

Drunk and listening to Johnny Cash.

Folsom Prison Blues may be the best song ever.

He's got it all, he was a god. Sunday Morning Coming Down has me in tears, drunk or sober. In my mix I've got Waylon coming up.

All those dudes own. Waylon, The Hag, Willie, Johnny, G. Jones, Kross Krisstiferson..they don't make em like that anymore.

I have a shirt that says "Country Music is Dead" on the front and Johnny Cash 1921-2003 on the back.

It's a cliche, but it's fucking true. There are no equals to these guys. No one could step up to fill these shoes. JR Cash was there at the beginning of it all.

I've said it vefore and I will say it again. Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash are modern day prophets. Everyone else is channeling what they ARE. It might come to some peopl naturally, but God gave it to those dudes.

I can say I'm a fucking agnostic all the live long day, but when you listen to stuff like this, you have to wonder what fucking god touched these guys. I need some of that stuff.
