According to Reynolds, "It's not coming out until January 06 at the earliest, possibly April. It's also going to be much shorter -- four chapters cut out altogether, two compressed into one, and smaller cuts passim. I estimate it's about 40 thousand words shorter than the UK version. The UK version is also illustrated whereas the US one isn't.

I'm doing a piece in the Observer Music monthly (which i'll link to from the blog) on how it was the best era of music ever, and one in Time Out UK about London during that period (not sure if they put stuff on the web). Possibly other pieces."
