Saw muse at the Eagles Club in Milwaukee for the first time last night, and it was amazing.

First of all let me 'splain the layout. The Eagles Club has three floors. The top "Ballroom is oblong, biggish room for about 1000 people. Terrible acoustics. Sound bouces everywhere. Middle floor, "the Rave" holds about 500 or so, maybe more. Better acoustics as it is square, but open and kinda echo-y. Then there is the "Underground" which I haven't been in since my thrash concert days. It is a low square room with a capacity of 3-400 or so. This is the room that Muse played in.

WOW~! They do leave everything up on stage. Total energy from the band all night. I don't know enough of them to know names but the bass player was dripping by the second song. The singer's voice Matt? was just like on CD which was nice. I thought he wouldnt be able to pull off the falsetto stuff.

It just rocked and rocked. They played for a solid 90 minutes and promptly left saying thanks and other unaudible comments.

Openers, "the Zutons" also sounded great. Element was right, they are a fun band. Total energy and they thanked Milwaukee over and over for the crowd's enthusiasm.

One final note. in this square low room the opening bass lines to "Hysteria" were absolutely incredible. Complete bass fuzz pushing through your clothes.
Incredible. Gosh, so worth the $13.50...

Oh man, I am SOOOO jealous! Muse AND The Zutons on the same bill?! What a fantastic night for you! So glad you had a great time!

WOW. You don't realize how lucky you are back_space... our tickets for the LA show were $30 or something like that. DAMN LA!
