Let's talk about this record. I didn't want to like it, but I found myself pretty receptive, even on the first listen. It has a lot of elements I usually dislike but the songs are well-written enough to cover for that

i'll agree, it sounds like an amalgam of other artists. tough for me to place. maybe some 80s new wave in there.. some songs are kinda corny-sounding, but i groove to all

I think they sound like a cross between Madness, the Proclaimers and Soundtrack of Our Lives

It's funny, because I can't fucking stand any of those three artists
