Nope, I'm salaried.

That's a bummer. I get paid by the hour, but I'm not exactly rolling in the dough. Time + 1/2 is nice, though.*

Thanks! I'm all right, I got a healthy stack o' discs from the car, two extra large iced coffees from Dunkin Donuts up the block, and nearly everyone else has cleared out making the place close to peaceful for once. I just needed to do the cyber equivalent of a primal scream.

time and a half is a luxury, and a necessity. I needs more work time (which might = more Obner time, depending on the day)...

I usually only work 6 scheduled hours a day. But then 8 on Saturday and whatever other random hours come up where I'm needed (usually works out to another 6 or 8 a week). So it generally winds up at 45 or 46.

But it used to be 70 until I put the brakes on the long weeks, so it's much better than it was.

Cool! I found what's most likely screwing up my numbers, and it's a problem with ISD's mainframe query, which means it can't be fixed until tomorrow. It's 106 miles to Chicago, I've got half a tank of gas, it's dark, and I'm carrying the first NY Dolls disc. Hit it!
