I can't give you anything but analyzation. The misspelling just seems too dirty.

Regardles, poster is clean, clear, informative. Not digging the font.

Analysis doesn't have 'ization' in it.

Poster works at getting the main points across and also makes me think of digestion.

On those criteria, you done good.

And I like yer artwork, too.

I like the color scheme. Not wild about the font either but overall I think it's good.

I think the font works fine up top, but less well on the bottom left. Maybe something a little more playful and less well-aligned down there.

Otherwise, I like the poster.

The center gray circle needs something, like Emmanuel Lewis or something.

i don't disagree.

for some reason obner is compressing the image so the lines look jaggy.
weird.

i think that the lack of any kind of noticable lighting makes it lack any kind of interesting depth (which may be appropriate for a flyer).

If you click on it, it will take you to the full-sized image.

always put your band name or the band you're doing this for in the largest point size, on top of the line-up, unless it's ridiculously clear that you're not headlining/main draw. is it honest? maybe not, but flyers are part of building a band's image and people *will* pay attention to the name in lights, as it were, and will remember you when they see the next flyers. hell, we've started sending out this to clubs and letting them fill in the details, just to make it perfectly clear how we see ourselves.

of course, if you're putting the bill together yourself and are promoting it as a whole, then that's your call.

also, i don't know if it's an issue in your area, but we usually include 21+/all ages/18+ info, since clubs/nights vary around here.

you know, i have to agree with you. I guess i wanted it to be clear i was going on really early.

on the flip side of the coin, i saw a flyer from one of the other bands on the bill and they didn't put ANY of the other bands on there. I thought that was a dick move.

Looks good. Much cleaner than the junk adorning telephone poles round these parts.

oof, yeah...that's pretty lame. that's a good way to not get asked onto bills and the favors network is pretty much how our scene (and plenty others) works...

i think the "hint, hint" inclusion of the info about how early the show is should be sufficient. but don't forget - you want people who can't make it to this show to remember you so that they'll be at the next. i think it takes a good 10-15 mentions (so, flyers, articles, word-of-mouth, seeing the name on line-ups in the local press, etc.) for me to really take a local act seriously these days, both on the booking side and as a concert-goer.
