So, I thought I'd keep track of how many shirts I have. All I know is it fits into the "I own a bunch" category. Everytime I go to the gym, it'll be a different t-shirt.

Last night: Vintage Siouxsie & the Banshees

Tonight: International Noise Conspiracy

What are you wearing?

T-shirt sizes tend to vary a bit...I've worn a Medium, all the way up to an XL...and I have a knack for buying a size too small, so I've given away a few to my sister (D-ray Davies & Hot Water Music come to mind)...I still have a Slobberbone, a Less Than Jake and a Dropkick Murphys...can't think of any others...haven't bought a concert tee in a while, though

I was thinking about this the other day as I was folding laundry.

I have:
+ Mighty Mighty Bosstones 1997 Midwest Tour Shirt that I will keep forever
+ River Records, a store in Monroe, LA. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and say hello to Mike. He's a super nice guy.
+ Wilco "Ramones" shirt
+ 2 (soon to be 3) shirts for a band I used to live with that have a Parkinson's benefit each spring. On 2 of the shirts I will have done the design.
+ Type O Negative "Liberation Of Vinnland Tour", c. 1996 t-shirt, no lie.
+ A Bad Religion shirt that I've worn maybe twice, and only on Sundays
+ Habitual Sex Offenders shirt...Big ups to Chicken Ranch Records. One half of Starlings, TN was in HSO, though I think Steve is the sole member now.

Most of my T-shirts are music related. These are the ones I remember off-hand.

- Less Than Jake (Losing Streak cover)
- DJ Shadow "Reconstruction continues"
- Ultraspank
- ...Trail of Dead
- Beth Orton (which I don't wear much cause it's a VERY bright yellow)
- Paper Airplane Pilots
- Deftones
- Taproot (Gift tour)
- Rival Schools (United By Fate cover)
- Built To Spill (pre-Melodies, Asian lady w/ an accordion)
- Voodoo Glow Skulls (Baile De Los Locos cover)
- Stuck Mojo "Friends Don't Let Friends Listen To Puff Daddy"
- Jurassic 5
- Wilco

i don't like most band t-shirts.

- aceyalone
- anticon
- why?
- michael bolton
- saul williams
- paul mccartney
- brother ali
- mf doom
- stones throw recs

i usually just wear white t-shirts anyway. the only "music" t-shirts i ever wear are like my saul williams and aceyalone, cuz they are a nice size. and just good all around shirts.

I haven't bought a band t shirt in about 10 years.

I have a Therapy? shirt, a couple of Dead Kennedys, two Morrisseys and a Smiths. I think that's it.

I don't wear them anymore because....ahem...I'm a bit bigger than I was when I was 19, 20, 21.

Out of the 10 or so shirts that I own (this number includes dress shirts), 6 are probably band-related.

I haven't bought one in years. I only have two from high school, a Doors and a Hendrix shirt that miraculously still fit 15 years later because they didn't shrink too much.

Now my Bowie shirt from the Glass Spider tour, Forgotten Rebels and Hole shirts are artifacts.

i probably own about 200 t-shirts and very few of them are band shirts. What's more, out of the band tees, most of them are over eight years old. I guess i'm not as into getting the shirts anymore. A complete list of currently owned ones:
Mclusky
Black Flag
Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band (1980 World Tour)
Ween
Strokes

and a Jane's Addiction shirt from 9th gradewith the quote from Merchant of Venice on the back.
