Ooooh! Well, let's see, I suggest the following:
. If you wanna do museum type stuff, the King Tut exhibit is currently going on at LACMA (
http://www.kingtut.org/la.htm).
. Venice Beach / Santa Monica Pier -- Venice Beach boardwalk has a lot of different stuff to look at, Muscle Beach; Santa Monica Pier has a great carousel, games for kids...plus, it's the beach!
. Grauman's Chinese Theatre -- size up your feet and hands with the stars.
. Olvera Street -- where the history of LA began.
. Children's Museum of Los Angeles --
http://www.childrensmuseumla.org/flashindex.html
. Do the kids like water parks? There's Raging Waters and Hurricane Harbor (part of Six Flags Magic Mountain). [/list]
If there are other things you'd prefer to, lemme know. I'm sure I can come up with more.
PS -- If you'd like to take the kids to see a movie at an authentic drive-in, there's one near my house that I can refer you to.
