I just finished watching Conan and witnessed one of the worst things I've ever seen.

That was just gut wrenchingly awful. I think the song was 'Word Play' because he only repeated it about 3900 times. If I ever hear this song again I will evicerate myself.

I had heard of him before but never actually been exposed to his music. I can't honestly remember when I've hated something more than that song.

I've heard one or two of his songs and don't see where this is coming from. I mean, he's no Maroon 5.

Fuck that, Maroon 5 sounds like Jimi fucking Hendrix compared to this idiot. The stupid rapping and self-referential lyrics are a million times worse than 'This Love'.

It's the cutesy, "look at me Ma, I can SIIIIING" shit. Every single square inch is covered in little flourishes and trills, little attempts to show off. An inch of talent stretched for half a mile.

I got a mix from what I thought was a friend last year with a Mraz cut on it. After an extended bout of alternately laughing and wretching horribly, I returned the favor by sending said ex-friend a shoe box full of baby shit.

These two jostle for #1, but I run across Mraz more often, so he gets the nod. Or should I say he gets the alleged brake failure.

The overall impression I got, the first time I ever saw him (also on a late-night show, a year ago or so) was that he was still stuck in "street performer" mode, trying to win people over in 15 seconds, but in this format, you have longer - you don't need to run at 110% every second of every song.

Net result: A burning desire to open a firehose on him.
