Okay, go to
this page, but then switch the size to 40x23x80 (approx. -- I believe it's the 2nd to last option). You can use the 93 heigth if you have 8' ceilings, but I just don't see the point -- there's no way you're going to be able to look in those top two drawers without a ladder. I'm putting boxes on top of mine. On the plus side, if you do have a way of getting to those top locations, the cost of the two different size frames are the same. If you want to be able to close them off, then get the larger frame (if you can).
Then go to
this page for the drawers. You can even buy them one at a time, but you got to hope they don't phase them out like they did that color to that guy who was buying the Billy stuff.
I counted like 10 drawers could go in the tall one, so I'm guessing 8 can go in the shorter one. Possibly 7. EDIT: <-- These numbers are wrong according to the planner, below. But it might not be allowing for space, so I could be right. Or I could have just plain lost count.
Guess what? You're done. That's it. You don't
have to do any more. Me, I'm going to "garnish" it with
this, only what they're not showing is that the curtain rod is sold separately, and for only US$4, so I'll just get that, and perhaps some similarly thick fabric, but black or purple or blurple or something that complements my room (white is
not the new black). I don't need to get it for every one, I can get it for every other one or something.
Also, if I get tired of loading nothing but CD's in these contraptions, I can get some of
these drawers (see bottom of left part of combination). Then what I would do is not let the curtain hang all the way down on those units.
Some additional links:
Pax Planning Tool
I just did the calculations, and one short unit + 11 drawers == US$352
Tall unit + 13 drawers + curtain front == US$408
Here is the top level Pax page. Look specifically at this combination:

EDIT: Don't know why the link isn't working.
The doors are transparent, those bottom four things are the drawers I have in mind.
Let me know if any of this makes any sense, or if you have any questions. I'm rearranging my room to accomodate this setup.
