So, I'm at Panera with my buddy Tommy who is in town scouting movie locations.

And he ordered a SOY LATTE.

I almost fell ove laughing. And then I thought of you, Haq-y baby.

One of things I miss most about NYC: the ability to walk to a bodega and grab a six of Schaefer cans.

That's awesome.

Can you still cases of Schlitz with the returnable bottles?

MMMMM....

I drank about 13 Harps and 9 Bud Lights last night and thought of jail as I was driving home.

Not required. They always just buy smalls and squeeze into them anyway.

I never heard it that way but that makes a lot more sense. I felt dirty writing it out "in me" but thought that's how it went.

It's good for you in a "if it doesn't kill you it must make you stronger" kind of way.

Soy beans should be used for soy sauce and edamame, anything else is unholy and an abomination in the eyes of the Lord.

Until they make a soy cow, there shouldn't be soy milk.

i say about half the people i hear ordering stuff from the neighborhood coffee shop get soy something or other. i shuddder at the thought, but there is a lot of soy consumed round these parts - along with an organic vegetable spread served on a environmentally friendly recycled napkin made by villagers in the Andes mountains.

5 years ago ...WE DON'T DRINK NO LATTES DOWN IN ALABAMA!!

10 years ago... WE DON'T DRINK BOTTLED WATER DOWN IN ALABAMA!!

20 years ago... WE DON'T USE NO NAP-KINS DOWN IN ALABAMA!!

5 years from now... We prefer not to have whole milk in our lattes. Instead we use 1% milk OR, preferably, soy milk. Soy milk is easier on our lactose-intolerant bodies, is healthier in the long run, and, most importantly, doesn't harm any cute, little moo-cows in the process.
