Can't really stand Madonna. I liked her for a couple years in junior high and high school. Otherwise I think she's an egotistical cow.

Christina has the voice that every one of these chicks wishes she could have.

Pink is harmless. I do admire her though for taking on the bimbos in the press and in song. Good for her. There's one song of hers that I kind of like, or rather I've been known to leave it on when I've come across it on the car radio. Can't think of the name right now.

As for Kylie, don't really know enough about her musically. But honestly, considering she's really fucking sick with breast cancer right now-debating her career merits seems wrong for some reason.

she's a lot more 'cool' and 'hip' than Madonna ever was or could be. It's only now that Madonna has started making music similar to that which Kylie was making at the start of the century. It's taken her that long to catch on. In the world of pop music, Kylie is queen, it's just that simple.

I actually quite like Kylie's singles since Impossible Princess, though I haven't heard full albums. It's surprising for me that I do like her that much given that she is a constant presence in the media, especially lately with the cancer stuff. Usually I find it hard to separate the music from the all-encompassing media personality.

Kylie is certainly no musical genius, and an average singer, but she makes good use of what she has (including looks of course), and makes smart choices about who she works with.

Madonna on the other hand just annoys me for some reason.

As for the influence thing, I think it's difficult to understand the way in which Kylie is regarded outside America for non-Americans. As frostingspoon or someone pointed out, she has never been out of the press either in Australia or Europe since she began her singing career, and always seems to chart well. Madonna is still successful of course, but from my perspective (where I rarely have a clue what is popular), I would argue Kylie is the bigger and more constant force, at least in Australia, and probably England

A cursory scan of this thread reveals a deplorable lack of ass pics.
