The re-masters were more about getting them back in print then anything else...
I guess you gotta remaster and throw bonus stuff on there to get the old fans to re buy them as well...
I'm actually frieds with Kory Clarke and have been at his house and he has played me unreleased tracks from the LDDC days. I kow he had lost alot of material from his moving over the years. Big shame.
If anything, they should have broke up the tracks from the 'Odds and Ends' release, and put those n the end of these cd's.
Later in the year in addition to the last two re-releases, there will be a DVD release.....That is gonna be potentially huge. He pulled out a gigantic box of video's.. Most of them pro-shot.
At one point he was going to let me put out the re-issues, but I couldnt get any of the people over at Geffen to talk seriously with me.
We still may do something together though.
A big ol' "rad" to all of that! I just wish the remasters had been better. They might not see great sales when word gets out about the quality as people scramble to get the old copies. Any idea why really sub-par audience bootlegs were chosen for the bonus tracks? Doesn't Kory have
anything officially recorded to offer instead?

In the mean time, check out Kory's new band, DIRTY RIG .
www.dirtyrig.com or
www.myspace.com/dirtyrig I introduced him to those guys. my buddy started the band...
I'd love to check the site out, but it came up blocked by Websense for being the category "sex"!
And, no, I don't see used Warrior Soul much anymore. I haven't seen anything locally for quite a while. Still dirt-cheap on Amazon and Half.com, however.
And wow, I'm stunned to see mentions of Saigon Kick! I saw them opening for King's X back in . . . 1996? . . . Extremely impressive show. The guitarist was fascinating to watch. When he played that snakey part in "Water," he looked like he was channelling the sound from some long-gone spirit. Same situation as WS - check Amazon and Half.com if you want 'em.
