Marmaduke surprised Owner-Lady and caused her to spill what appears to be six gallons worth of milk all over her kitchen table and son. It is unclear whether Marmaduke's actions were mischievous or spiteful, but the smart money is on spiteful.

Can you edit the title to say "Someone with no sense of humor explains Marmaduke, though no one was really waiting for one"?

I laughed at:

uniquely canine disregard for local building codes

and

(Marmaduke, for reasons still at large, owns a very large number of mobile phones).

This is amazing. A work friend and I daily scratch our heads that Marmaduke's writer can keep plugging away at the same basic three jokes for decades and decades.

We routinely argue which is worse - Marmaduke or Dennis the Menace for sheer soul-killing repetition and malaise. How can these people keep cranking out something that is so obviously dead?

She's gonna love this.

No. I am pretty sure that's even unfunnier than the holocaust.

Or even Garfield. I mean seriously guys, how many times can he send Odie to Abu Dabai? I have no idea if I spelled that correctly.

That website is great. Proof that the newspaper comic strip is a dead, dead medium.

I like how every time they show Marmaduke sleeping, he explains it as "Marmaduke is dying."

I've got two books of these molo'd Family Circus cartoons, drawn almost a decade ago by Robin Bougie. The cover of the first one features a picture of Billy talking to his little brother under the title "I HATE YOU, YOU PERVERTED FUCK, AND EVERYTHING YOU STAND FOR!" It's all similarly funny, socially reprehensible stuff like the cartoon Haq posted.

Anyway, at the back of those Family Suck-Ass parodies, there's a few panels of Marma-puke. I'll have to scan 'em and post 'em here.
