That sea pig looks kinda like a Haggis cooked in a hospital glove.

I'd laugh once again at the Bungles, but they might have been smart with this one, especially after reading this:

Smith's injury comes on the same day ProFootballTalk.com reported his contract has a clause stating he and the team agree his pay will be halved for each game he weighs 350 pounds or more and isn't on the 45-man roster. Smith is listed at 335 pounds.

My ears are burning just reading this...
If he did this to my two year old, I would have ended his life, and spent the rest of my own in jail for murder.

The comments by Lou Holtz and Tom Osborne are a bit insulting to liberals. I also find it funny that Bobby Bowden is a Dixiecrat.

I have to replace a vacuum hose and brake booster. I talked my shop into rolling the labor into one job (they had to order/install a new vacuum hose, then test the booster, so technically two different jobs), so that took the job from being over $1k down to $940. I then told them to find a trusted used parts supplier and they did, in Atlanta, so the total job is cut to $775. I spent close to $5k on repairs + new brakes + tires in the last year that included new struts, a re-machined head gasket, power steering pump, serpentine belt tensioner, idler pulley, etc.

I think back on how badly I could use that money now and it makes my stomach turn.

Just found out yesterday afternoon another part (the one that caused the brake booster to go bad) has to be replaced at $382 for part/labor. The vacuum pump. WTF? The job is over $1,100 now. I can't be spending that kind of money when it's not budgeted. Fucking piece of shit.

There's a work thing going on sometime in October in the UK / Ireland, and I am the right person to go to it from here (and someone has to). I really personally want to do it too, but if the kiddo is ... a month old at that point... am I a heel for not refusing to go (assuming they formally ask me)?

How old is that car? If my car needed 1100 bucks I'd get a new one.

This particular trip has been on the radar for a year and a half, and we've all been chipping away at these issues that whole time at our respective sites, so we're anxious to get together and compare notes. I totally want to go, but there's no telling how hard it will be to leave for a week that soon after the birth.

I know you're fully prepared for the child rearing experience and know everything about birth, post partum, and taking care of a child already, but since you asked -- you're going to need to move this trip or send someone else. Or Dial 1-800-BOS-DVRC.

Do infants travel well? Because if those ladies can bring chihuahua's in their carry-ons it's fucked up that I can't bring my rugrat in one.

they at least travel for free. kid would probably sleep the entire time if you planned it at the right time of day.

one of my grade school friends was born in sweden because his parents were on vacation there. (i guess he arrived a little early.) then they flew back with, like, a 1-week old. his mom said he slept the entire time, of course.

i flew my son and his mom from indpls to LA once and he was pretty much a smiling blob the whole time. no problems.

but it probably depends on the disposition of your kid. and yes, they will fly free. unless you check them with your luggage
