My mom was an aircraft mechanic and my dad works civil service for the DOD. You may not be aware but a large portion of the USAF is made up of minorities. I've grown up with a very diverse group of people because of the Air Force. To insinuate that i don't like Scoop Jackson's writing because he's black or it comes from a black perspective is quite insulting. You assume/hint because i live in Idaho that i'm close minded and/or a racist. Or that i don't have interaction with black people on a regular basis. How about everyday at work and on my block.
His writing has been appealing so far at ESPN. Maybe his skills will shine through in future articles but i won't like or dislike them based on his race
