a real chin scratcher here. hashbrowns on a burger, all of which are on french-toast-style bread with bacon. add some cigarette ash and you've got a burger made from griddle-scrapings at the waffle house off I-70 in xenia, OH.

tonights burger made me very angry. limburger cheese should just be banned altogether. who really thinks that shit tastes good? and if you think that tastes good, do you lick the ass of NYC bums after they've been sitting in the hot sun with 3 week old undies on? i actually had to remove the cheese from my burger, and even after that, i could still taste it and had to spit out a bite to avoid rejecting the burger all over the table. definitely two thumbs down on this one, and if i had more thumbs, they would be down too.

did i mention how gross limburger cheese is? gross.

Quite frankly, this was disgusting.

I mean, I knew going in that limburger cheese had a bad rap for stankidity, but boy did I ever underestimate its pungency.

I had high hopes...the french toast bread piqued my curiousity, and the usual accoutrements such as bacon and onion rings had me pretty much sold. But alas they were overpowered by the putrefaction of this horrid, horrid cheese.

Things started off okay, with a tasty breakfast stout, which seemed an appropriate pairing with the breakfasticity going on within the burger.


The parsley in my garden went to seed so I had to grab a bunch at the store, and I figured I'd mix it into the beef for added flavor, per Shera's suggestion. Very festive.


Shera made some wonderful french toast. Here it is, being wonderful.


We garnished it with some midget dills because why the hell not.


The train to Stinkville boarded here. Which begs the question: who was the first Belgian peasant to say "hey this smells like my ass crack after a week of camping. I wonder what it tastes like." Apparently, this cheese is fermented with the Brevibacterium linens bacterium, which is also found on human skin and produces body odor. Science!
