The Greatest) on the second. Meanwhile, the iconography seems direct from Killers sophomore disc Sam's Town, with a soupçon of later-period Sofia Coppola (Somewhere) if only for the repeated shots of the Chateau Marmont sign, which is of course an LA not Vegas landmark. All told then this is unobjectionable coffeeshop pop -- I didn't hear it right away, but the Rolling Stone reviewer's comparison to Dido with a dirtier mouth fits (& makes Lana pretty much a burlesque ready version of EMA) -- that will grace us for a season or two, then be gone away.
